The read is moving, but there is no sound
If the highlight is moving through AI lines but you cannot hear the voices, start with your device’s sound settings. You do not need to reimport the script or regenerate its audio to check them.
On an iPhone or iPad
Turn off Silent Mode and raise the volume while playback is running. Silent Mode can mute the app even when other audio on the device seems to work. Check whether sound is going to Bluetooth headphones or a speaker that is still connected nearby.
On a computer
Check the system volume and selected sound output. If you recently used headphones, a monitor, or a Bluetooth speaker, the computer may still be sending sound there. Also check that the browser tab or site is not muted.
Try a voice preview
Open Voices, open a character’s voice picker, and preview a voice. If that is silent too, it is a useful clue to check device output and browser sound first. It does not prove the script is faulty.
If previews work but the read is silent, tell us which device and browser you are using, and whether the problem affects every AI line or just one. Open Help & Support with the script open to include a diagnostic report.
