Troubleshooting
Why isn’t my scene ready to download?
A download is assembled from the audio your read has generated. Listening to most of a scene may leave just one line unprepared, and that is enough to keep the scene from being ready.
Use the readiness markers
Open Download to see which scenes are ready. The markers beside the script distinguish Ready, Not ready, and Excluded lines. Green Ready means audio exists for the current voice; amber Not ready means the line still needs attention. Excluded lines are outside the download under your current settings.
Play the remaining lines
Select an unprepared line in the script and press the usual Play button. Continue through the remaining lines, then check Download again. If you see Voice mismatch, the assigned voice has changed since that audio was created; play the line with the voice you now want.
If the panel offers Restore audio from cloud, try that first. It checks for audio already generated on your account and brings matching audio onto this device. If no match is found, the remaining lines need to be played.
Check what you asked the narrator to read
If you enabled narration after listening to the dialogue, you may still need audio for scene headings, action, or transitions. Open Voices and check the narrator and its reading options, then play the narration you want included.
For a generated download, give the characters AI voices. Choosing Me does not record your spoken performance into an MP3. Downloads also require a plan with audio downloads; the panel will tell you if an upgrade is needed.
